CAA Associates:
Members of the CAA Associates support the goals and mission of the Carmel Art Association. They are dedicated to fostering local art and to contributing to the understanding and appreciation of the visual arts on the Monterey Peninsula. Associate membership in the Carmel Art Association provides a unique opportunity to be supportive of a diverse group of local artists, their programs, and their distinctive gallery.

Benefits of CAA Associate Membership:
Membership in the CAA Associates offers exciting and unique opportunities to serve our community by furthering the programs and goals of the organization. CAA Associate benefits include invitations to all openings, art lectures, painting demonstrations, films, musical events and special fundraising activities. A quarterly newsletter and getting to know the Carmel Art Association artists are additional reasons to join.
Gallery Events:
The gallery hosts various educational and fundraising events throughout the year such as opening previews of exhibits, lectures, dinners and receptions. Volunteers play a key role by providing assistance and energy. Willing hands are needed to help out as mail-stuffers, greeters, servers, and setup and cleanup crews. But most importantly, the CAA Associates, through their volunteer involvement, show their appreciation and support of the Carmel Art Association.
Volunteer Activities:
- Volunteering as "worker bees" to assist with mailings, art openings, receptions and providing administrative help.
- Assisting with the semi-annual historical exhibitions by providing support in the docent program.
- Assisting with the annual auction/dinner fundraising event.
- Raising funds for student art scholarships.
