Wilda Northrop earned her MFA from Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles in 1967. She moved to Pacific Grove in 1974. She began working in watercolor at that time while raising her three children.


Wilda's paintings of still lifes, store fronts, gardens, koi, and pug dogs demonstrate her gift for design, composition and color. She is an obsessive collector and paints what she loves.


Wilda exhibits nationally and has won numerous awards. She is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society and Watercolor West.
